Tech-Air® Off-Road is a FIM-certified airbag system specifically engineered to meet the demands of rally, Maxi trail, Adventure riding and deliver outstanding upper-body protection. Developed and tested since 2017 under the extreme conditions of the Dakar Rally—the toughest off-road race in the world—this system incorporates the most advanced active airbag technology available for off-road use.

Once deployed, the Tech-Air® Off-Road airbag provides full CE Level 1 protection for the chest and back, along with extended coverage for the shoulders, neck, and collarbones in the event of a crash.

The system is integrated into an Alpinestars Off-Road protective jacket, which features CE Level 1 passive protection for the back and limbs, additional reinforcements on the arms, and a full CE Level 2 passive chest protector—offering enhanced defense against rocks, debris, and other trail hazards.

Built to withstand the harshest environments, the system comes preloaded with three riding modes — ENDURO, RALLY, and STREET — making it the ideal choice for any type of off-road adventure.
